DOWN HOME

DOWN HOME is music inspired by black and white photography. It is one of my most active working groups at the moment. There is lots of music we are recording for an apcoming album this spring
“Down Home” takes songs from different musical traditions that evoke a story. Paying homage to the deep southern traditions of Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee: it is programmatic music that brings the listener to a time, place, and moment in your own imagination.

PeopleMusic came about to try capture the fun and sadness of life through music. A celebration of Brazil, Africa, the Balkans, the old worlds and the fearless adventure of new music. The group's music has some of the rawness of world music and the energy of the New York jazz scene.
